JULY TO BE HARDWORKING FOR GOVERNMENT, PARLIAMENT - SAYS RACAN

ZAGREB, June 15 (Hina) - Croatia's Prime Minister Ivica Racan announced on Thursday a lot of work awaited both the government and parliament in July. According to current plans, members of the government will go on vacation the first two weeks of August. We have not deserved more for now, Racan said ahead of today's government session, adding he expected the ministers would not use all legal possibilities for vacations given that the government had much to do. The prime minister said parliament should hold an extraordinary session in July for second readings of bills on taxes, income, and the stimulation of investments. The government should prepare for first readings bills on bankruptcy, and labour. Parliament will certainly discuss a bill on obligations to pensioners. Simultaneously, the government should prepare new concepts of reforms in the power supply, shipbuilding and railway
