OPATIJA, June 6 (Hina) - A total of 16,868 tourists were vacationing in the Kvarner region on the northern Adriatic coast last weekend, which is a 35 percent increase compared to the same period last year, Primorje-Gorski Kotar
Tourism Board reported. Of that number, 14,984 were foreign arrivals, which is a 57 percent increase compared to last year. Most of the arrivals were from Germany, Austria, Italy, and Slovenia. There were also 1,884 domestic tourists, which is a 36 percent decrease compared to last year.
