Croatia and Romania are sharing several "areas of mutual interest which provide the opportunity for direct, concrete cooperation, especially should Croatia decide to modernise its fighter aircraft MIG-21," Culetic said. Possibilities for cooperation are available in the technology area, as well as pilot and officer training, Busce said after the talks. Romania should, in cooperation with the "Elbit" Israeli company, by the end of this year complete the modernisation of 110 of their MIG-21 aircraft.
