ZAGREB, May 18 (Hina) - The Croatian President's Office on Thursday issued a statement dismissing claims from an article published in 'Globus' daily under the title "Lucin Has Not Solved A Single Scandal." According to the statement,
"in his interview to 'Globus' weekly President Mesic explicitly said that the party which is most responsible for the current situation was the State Attorney's Office. As regards Minister Lucin, the President did not even mention his name, let alone accuse him of the current situation. He only said that the Interior Ministry should act more aggressively." The remark that a ministry should be more aggressive in its work should be understood as an encouragement and not as an attack on Minister Lucin.
