ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) 1861, Dobroslav Paraga, on Monday requested that the name of Zagreb's Marshall Tito Square be changed. Paraga said the proposal for the Zagreb City Assembly
to give the Square of Croatian Great Men its old name back - the Square of the Victims of Fascism - was inadmissible because at the same time one of Zagreb's most beautiful squares "is disgraced by the name of one of the most ruthless dictators of the twentieth century on the pretext of Croatia's achievements in the anti-fascist struggle." Paraga also suggests that the Marshall Tito Square be renamed the Square of the Victims of Communism.(hina) rml
