DUBROVNIK OFFERS GOOD CONDITIONS FOR CONFERENCE TOURISM

ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - The southern Croatian towns Dubrovnik and Cavtat have promoted their offers in conference tourism, during a recent international tourism fair in Zagreb. Dubrovnik, a famous Croatian resort, has two prestigious hotels where business and scholar symposiums and gatherings can take place.
ZAGREB, May 13 (Hina) - The southern Croatian towns Dubrovnik and Cavtat have promoted their offers in conference tourism, during a recent international tourism fair in Zagreb. Dubrovnik, a famous Croatian resort, has two prestigious hotels where business and scholar symposiums and gatherings can take place.#L# 'Argentina' Hotel includes 124 air-conditioned rooms, two conference halls and the five-star Villa Orsula. 'Excelsior' has been the first hotel at the Croatian Adriatic coast to receive five stars since new categorisation of tourist facilities was conducted. It has been Croatia's first hotel to get ISO 9002 certificate. Excelsior was completely renovated in 1998 and now there are 154 air-conditioned rooms and 18 junior suites. The hotel includes a 500-seat congress hall and four smaller ones for the similar purpose. The hotel called 'Croatia' in the nearby town of Cavtat is one of biggest Adriatic hotels for conference tourism. Participants in seminars and conferences can use its six congress halls and additional services are at their disposal. This year Cavtat's five-star hotel will host over 50 different seminars, gatherings and similar events. 'Croatia' has been listed among the best five hotels in the country. (hina) ms
