'Excelsior' has been the first hotel at the Croatian Adriatic coast
to receive five stars since new categorisation of tourist
facilities was conducted. It has been Croatia's first hotel to get
ISO 9002 certificate.
Excelsior was completely renovated in 1998 and now there are 154
air-conditioned rooms and 18 junior suites. The hotel includes a
500-seat congress hall and four smaller ones for the similar
purpose.
The hotel called 'Croatia' in the nearby town of Cavtat is one of
biggest Adriatic hotels for conference tourism. Participants in
seminars and conferences can use its six congress halls and
additional services are at their disposal.
This year Cavtat's five-star hotel will host over 50 different
seminars, gatherings and similar events.
'Croatia' has been listed among the best five hotels in the
country.
