ZAGREB, May 12 (Hina) - Construction works on the Bosiljevo-Sveti Rok section of the future Zagreb-Split-Dubrovnik highway, to be built by United States company Bechtel, should commence on 1 or 15 June at the latest, Croatia's
Minister for Public Works, Reconstruction and Construction Radimir Cacic said on Friday. Cacic attended the promotion in Zagreb of a validity study for the construction of the Zagreb-Dubrovnik highway, whose authors advocate that the future highway should take another route, via Plitvice and Udbina, which would be 50km shorter than the one via Bosiljevo and Sveti Rok. According to Cacic, the length of the highway is a good, if not the only argument based on which the government is to decide on the route.(hina) ha jn
