ZADAR, April 28 (Hina) - The county court in the coastal town of Zadar on Friday convicted two men of causing bodily harm to two Serb returnees. On March 17 last year the two convicted men, together with another three men, entered the
yard of Danica and Pavle Rajcevic in the village of Smokovic near Zadar and took five hens and two ducks from the poultry house. The chicken thieves were drunk and almost not accountable for their acts. They shouted at the Rajcevics to come out and threatened to shoot at them. After the old pair did not respond to their calls, the two convicted broke through a window of a sleeping room and beat them with a wooden lath. They were sentenced today to 10 and 11 months in prison, and the other three men received suspended sentences.(hina) jn ms
