ZAGREB, April 26 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Premier Zeljka Antunovic on Wednesday received Hannes Swoboda, Austria's representative in the European parliament, the government's Media and Public Relations Office said in a statement. The
two officials discussed issues related to the return of all displaced persons, refugees, and exiled persons in the region. Antunovic briefed Swoboda on legislative changes Croatia had undertaken in view of accelerating democratisation. The economic situation in Croatia is very difficult and the government is faced with many problems, especially in connection with the reconstruction of war-damaged areas and refugee returns, she said.
