CROATIAN HOMELAND WAR SOLDIERS STAGE RALLY IN DJAKOVO

DJAKOVO, April 25 (Hina) - Associations from the Homeland War and soldiers held a peaceful rally in Djakovo Thursday afternoon as protest against investigators of the Hague-based International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) investigators excavating alleged mass graves in the region. The protesters relayed to the Government do suspend its declaration on Cooperation with the ICTY. "We did nit fight so Croatia could have a tutor, but for it to be independent. Nobody has the right to send Croatian soldiers to The Hague for some goal or other. Karadzic, Mladic and Milosevic belong there. We only defended what was ours and we thus resolutely say no to The Hague," protesters said. Speaking about Croatia's cooperation with the international community, president of the Croatian Party of Rights, Ante Djapic, also present at the rally, stressed Croatia should not consent to dictates, asserting "The Hague Tribunal only intimidated Croats", He called on Croatian Homeland war soldiers to "continue being the consciousness and collective which will react whenever the basic valued of the Homeland War are being jeopardised."
