RIJEKA, April 18 (Hina) - The president of the Democratic Centre (DC), Mate Granic, said in Rijeka on Tuesday it was "completely clear that Croatia cannot avoid the jurisdiction of the Hague tribunal over operations 'Flash' and
'Storm' - neither in international legal terms nor in terms of foreign policy." However, the DC believes the Government's Declaration on Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal, which was adopted by the House of Representatives, "could have pointed more to the flaws in the operation of the Hague Tribunal and protected better the lawfulness and legitimacy of those operations and the Homeland War in general." Granic told reporters his party would "promote and protect national interests and identity in the best possible way - by assisting in Croatia's admission to the European Union and other relevant international associations."(hina) mm rml
