ZAGREB, April 13 (Hina) - Two Croatian films, "Marsal" (The Marshall) by Vinko Bresan and "Crvena prasina" (Red Dust) by Zrinko Ogresta, will be shown at the film festival in Karlovy Vary on July 5-15 2000. Bresan's film will compete
in the official programme, whereas Ogresta's film will be shown within the Informative Section.Both films were produced by Interfilm and Croatian Radio Television (HRT). The Karlovy Vary festival was established in 1946 and is one of the oldest and most important film festivals in central Europe. "Crvena prasina" will also be shown in Prague, Istanbul, Amsterdam and Minneapolis. "The Marshall" has been invited to the film festivals in Montreal, Jerusalem, Vienna, and Edinburgh. Bresan's film will have its premiere in Novi Sad on April 14, and in Belgrade on April 15.(hina) rml
