ZAGREB, April 12 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister of Homeland War Soldiers, Ivica Pancic, on Wednesday met a delegation of students-war invalids of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO), who have not received their education allowances for
four months, the Ministry said in a statement. Since they belong to the last generation of students-war invalids, the minister said he would take all measures provided by the law so that the problem of allowances, which are within the jurisdiction of the Pension Insurance Fund, was solved. Students-war invalids were sent to colleges by the Defence Ministry, which failed to regulate their status during 1999. The students' delegation gave full support for a transparent and lawful resolution of all issues concerning war victims from the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the statement said.(hina) rml
