CRO STATE ATTORNEY'S OFFICE NOT FAMILIAR WITH OTHER PLANS OF ICTY INVESTIGATORS

ZAGREB, April 11 (Hina) - State Attorney Berislav Zivkovic on Tuesday said that the Croatian State Attorney's Office was not familiar with any other plans of International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) investigators regarding investigations in Croatia apart from their engagement in the exhumation of an alleged mass grave in Gospic area, central Croatia. The Croatian Government on Sunday issued a statement in which it allowed the ICTY investigators to participate in the exhumation of an alleged mass grave in Gospic area. When asked about Croatia's involvement in the investigation in Gospic region, the Attorney's Office said that the authorised State Attorney's Office would act in line with Article 185, item 1, of the law on criminal proceedings.
