CROATIA TO ATTEND WORLD'S EXHIBITION 'EXPO 200' IN HANNOVER

ZAGREB, April 9 (Hina) - After a successful presentation at the world exhibition, Expo, in Lisbon, Croatia is to be presented this year at Expo 2000, to be held in Hannover between June 1 and 30. The theme of this year's Expo is "Man, Nature and Technology", a Croatian vice Premier and national commissioner for Expo 2000 Zeljka Antunovic told a press conference. Croatia is a country of a rich and preserved nature and has all preconditions for a full presentation at the exhibition, Antunovic added. She said that by its presentation at the exhibition, Croatia would open towards the world and would try to take a different position in international relations. At Expo 2000 in Hannover, Croatia will have its pavilion and numerous advertising posters and an official catalogue. Even though 25 million kuna (DM6.25 million) have been earmarked from this year's and last year's budget for Croatia's presentation at Expo 2000, it was necessary to find other sources of financing, said assistant minister for Public Works, Reconstruction and Building Ante Stojan. As a part of Expo 2000, Croatia's national day is to be held on June 10. (hina) it
