OSIJEK, April 8 (Hina) - Unless solutions to the problems of returnees are found and requests for the reconstruction of homes and revival of the economy in areas of special government care are fulfilled within 15 days, Croatian
returnees will organise further protests, the Association of Croatian Returnees said on Saturday. In a letter to Prime Minister Ivica Racan, the Association said its management board had at Friday's session in Zagreb discussed budgetary funds for the reconstruction of homes this year, and "expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of interest for requests of displaced persons and returnees who are still waiting to return to their homes, and who had given the most during the creation and defence of the Homeland," the letter said.
