ZAGREB ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - An exhibition of photos, entitled "Romany Musicians - Scenes From Kosovo", was opened at Zagreb's Museum of Ethnography on Friday on the occasion of the World Day of Romany. The exhibition presents 17
photos by Svanibor Pettan, a Slovene ethnomusicologist, taken between 1989 and 1991. The exhibition, which will be open until April 16, is divided into several segments which present musical instruments and types of ensembles of the Kosovo Romany. The event was prepared by the Slovene Museum of Ethnography from Ljubljana and organised by the Croatian Institute of Romany and the association "Romany for the Romany of Croatia". Pettan said that all that had been recorded on the photos no longer existed due to the war in Kosovo.
