ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - The Northern Light or Aurora Borealis could be seen on three occasions from Croatia last night, the Visnjan observatory in Istria reported on Friday. The Northern Light lit the sky high above the north
horizon, making it look like it was 'burning' with a deep red glow.

The observatory reported that the lowering of Aurora Borealis so
far from the North pole was an exceptionally rare event, which can
be seen only a few times in a decade.
Aurora Borealis could be seen from Croatia high above France,
Germany and the Czech Republic.
