ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - A Croatian Defence Ministry commission on Monday completed its investigation about an alleged action of the Security and Information Service (SIS) against non-government organisations. The supervisory service
of the National Security Office should also complete its investigation into the case, known as "Chameleon", on Monday, the Defence Ministry said in a statement. The SIS investigation results will not be issued separately, but will be included in the final joint report, the statement, signed by head of the Ministry's Public Relations Office, Colonel Dusan Viro, said. The "Chameleon" probe was launched after a former member of the Croatian Helsinki Committee for human rights, Franjo Tot, told the press the SIS had drafted him to steal documents and access information about the HHO and the "Glas 99" non-government organisation for following elections.(hina) lml jn
