ZAGREB ZAGREB, March 16 (Hina) - NATO Secretary-General George Robertson on Thursday arrived in Zagreb, where he is hold talks with Croatia's highest state officials on the country's drawing closer to NATO. Immediately upon his
arrival in the Croatian capital, Robertson started talks with Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and Deputy Defence Minister Zlatko Gareljic at the Foreign Ministry building. The NATO Secretary-General will during the day also meet Croatian President Stipe Mesic, Prime Minister Ivica Racan, and Croatian National Sabor President Zlatko Tomcic. Robertson and his hosts are expected to continue talks on Croatia-NATO rapprochement and Croatia's admission to the Partnership for Peace programme. These talks started during Prime Minister Racan's visit to Brussels in mid-February.
