ZAGREB, Mar 8 (Hina) - Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), one of the world's
leading business information and credit rating agencies, remains
cautious in assessing Croatia's business rating, without however
undervaluing the political changes which took place in Croatia in
recent months.
In its March report, D&B gave Croatia the same rating as in the past
year, DB5b, making it ninth according to business risk among 24
countries of Central and East Europe.
D&B says in the report the risk of investing in Croatia has changed
after the results of parliamentary and presidential elections held
earlier this year.
The international community has already answered to the political
turnabout in Croatia through certain promises, thus demonstrating
a significant interest in Croatia, the report says.
Early in January, D&B announced Croatia had been put under
consideration for the granting of a better credit rating. The
agency's analysts then pointed out risk for foreigners investing in
Croatia would decrease in keeping with the level in which the new
government implemented necessary changes.
