ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament's budget for the year 2000 will fit into the Government's savings measures. MPs refuse to speak about its amount, but stress that the budget would only apply to items enabling
the functioning of the Parliament. It is certain, though, that some expenses will be reduced. Significantly less resources will be used for the decorating of the Parliament, furniture and equipment, a Parliament secretary, Kresimir Aleric, said. Resources will also be economised in the purchase of office supplies, press subscriptions, the training of personnel, maintenance and flower arrangements. There will, however, be expenses which will not be influenced, such as officials' and personnel salaries.(hina) lml
