ZAGREB, Feb 22 (hina9 - New president of the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) Hrvoje Vojkovic on Tuesday said he would, even before the passing of the law on audit of transformation and privatisation, initiate amendments to the
Statute so that a special sector for the interior surveillance over the lawfulness of the transformation and privatisation could be organised as a part of the HFP. Vojkovic told reporters that he advocated the determine solving of all affairs regarding the work of the HFP. He said that the HFP would no longer be a symbol of crime and malversation, but it would soon become a respectable institution. Vojkovic stressed that the MFP would no longer be an instrument of the wrong economy policy "which displayed favouritism towards 200 families and brought Croatia to the edge of economic breakdown".
