ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - An average mark of solvency of examined Croatian companies in January was somewhat better compared to the average mark a month before. In January this mark was 429.1620 points and it still reflected an
occasionally critical situation in business entities in Croatia, the Zagreb-based Intercredit firm said in its monthly bulletin. The Intercredit deals with assessments of credit rating and settlement of debts in Croatia. It predicts that some improvements and positive tendencies can be registered in the future partly thanks to political changes the country has recently experienced. None of companies, classified according to their size or activities, received the satisfactory mark, i.e. 300 points or below last month. points) and the small firms had the worst performance (436.7961
point).
Intercredit received most requests for assessments of credit
rating from Germany, and after them French clients also showed
great interest. Third biggest ordering party were Austrians.
