BUDAPEST, Feb 8 (Hina) - Completely new prospects have been opened up for the furtherance of the Hungarian-Croatian relations after Zagreb is likely to exit from the international isolation following the recent parliamentary and
presidential elections, Hungary's State Secretary at Foreign Ministry, Zsolt Nemeth, told the Hungarian News Agency (MTI) on Tuesday. He added that in the previous period the international community had not unambiguously kindly viewed good relations between Budapest and Zagreb, but now there were real possibilities for the Hungarian stands to be accepted in that context. According to the official Budapest, democracy in Croatia has reached an advanced stage, while a market economy is at the stage of being developed, Nemeth said. He added that the figure of Stjepan Mesic can be a guarantee for the continuation of positive changes in Croatia. (hina) mm ms
