ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - The electoral turnout at the second round of Croatia's presidential election by 11 a.m. has been 25.47 percent, the National Electoral Commission has reported, covering data from about 80 percent of all polling
stations. Monday's figure is higher than the turnout recorded at the first round of the presidential poll on January 24, when 22.44 percent of the electoral body cast their ballot by 11 a.m. The majority of questions addressed to the Electoral Commission refers to why presidential candidate Stipe Mesic is first on ballots. The Commission points out this is in line with a regulation stipulating that the order of candidates on ballots depends on the number of votes each won in the first electoral round. A Commission delegation forwarded to Mostar in south Bosnia-Herzegovina has reported elections are being held in line with the law, and that the turnout has been high. A
