ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - The new President of Croatia is to be inaugurated on 18 February at a ceremony which will be organised in St.Mark's Square in the downtown Zagreb. This issue was discussed at Sunday's meeting between Croatian
National Parliament's President, Zlatko Tomcic, who is the acting Head of State, the two contestants of Monday's presidential run-off - Drazen Budisa and Stipe Mesic, and the Constitutional Court's head, Smiljko Sokol. They agreed that the inauguration of the new President of the Republic should take place in St. Mark's Square in order to make it possible for many eager citizens and international diplomats and representatives to be present at that act. A task force, led by Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic, was set up to organise the inauguration ceremony. National Parliament's President, Zlatko Tomcic, who is the acting
Head of State, the two contestants of Monday's presidential run-off

They agreed that the inauguration of the new President of the

Upon the ceremony, foreign senior officials and guests will be
received by the newly-inaugurated President at Dverci, the
