ZAGREB, Feb 1 (Hina) - A meeting of the project group for marking the 10th anniversary of the working community of the Danube River regions was an opportunity for Croatia to points out one of its significant geopolitical guidelines,
namely its unquestionable belonging to Central European cultural and political circles, Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula said in Zagreb on Tuesday. He told reporters that the meeting aimed at gathering people who would use a geographical fact that the Danube runs through many regions in Europe, for achieving certain political closeness. "I would like to believe that this is only a temporary point of long-term cooperation between different European regions and a chance that Croatia points out one of its significant geopolitical guidelines, which is its unquestionable belonging to Central European cultural and political circles", said Picula. belonging to Central European cultural and political circles,
Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula said in Zagreb on Tuesday.
He told reporters that the meeting aimed at gathering people who
would use a geographical fact that the Danube runs through many

"I would like to believe that this is only a temporary point of long-
term cooperation between different European regions and a chance
that Croatia points out one of its significant geopolitical
guidelines, which is its unquestionable belonging to Central
European cultural and political circles", said Picula.
The Croatian Foreign Minister expressed belief that the results of
the meeting would soon become materialised.
In 2000, Croatia is chairing the working community of Danube River

Croatia became a full member in May, 1991.
Picula said that Croatia wanted to clearly mark its European

During a year-long mandate of chairing the working community,
