PULA, Jan 29 (Hina) - A former Croatian tourist official was released on Friday evening after being interrogated on suspicion of having assisted Croatia's former tourism minister in abusing position and power, Istra County state
attorney Vlatko Nuic said on Saturday. Antun Golik, former assistant tourism minister and the manager of "Imperijal", a tourist company from Rab, was interrogated in Pula and released after police assessed there was neither need nor reason that he be kept in custody. According to Nuic, Golik's role and status will be established after processing the complete documentation relative to the power and position abuse case surrounding former tourism minister Ivan Herak. Herak and Djani Bazon, the owner of Labin-based trade business "Mini Pam", were detained at the Pula County Court investigation centre.
