"HALO, INSPECTOR" SHOW IS NOT DIRECTED AGAINST ALBANIAN COMMUNITY

ZAGREB, Jan 28 (Hina) - Josip Kelemen, editor at Zagreb's Open Television (OTV) and author of the "Halo, Inspector" documentary show, told a news conference Friday that murder threats by individuals of Albanian nationality against him and his associates because of a show on inspections of bakeries were concerning. All irregularities in the work of the bakeries were noted in the first two shows of the "Halo, Inspector" series which depict the inspection of bakeries do not reflect a personal attitude and are a documented truth, Kelemen said, stressing that anybody's and any nationality had nothing to do with the documentary. "During the coverage of the work of inspectors in the work of bakeries the camera noted the truth. In the production section of bakeries we saw, cockroaches did crawl around, flour used for making bread was mouldy, a worker was picking his nose and wearing irregular clothing, and the toilet facilities were not kept as is regulated," Kelemen said. He stressed that any involvement of the issue of nationality of the Albanian minority in the show was a pure manipulation, completely unacceptable to the OTV.
