ZAGREB, Jan 21 (Hina) - According to data of the Croatian Employment Office, the unemployment rate in Croatia is still increasing. The Employment Office data read that in late December 1999, the number of unemployed persons amounted
to 341,730, which is 1.7 percent more than in November and 12.9 percent more than in December 1998. In December 1999, 22,164 persons registered in the employment agency, which is 3.2 percent more than in the same month in 1998.
