DM15 MILLION TO BE INVESTED IN CRO TOURIST CAMPS THIS YEAR

ZAGREB, Jan 14 (Hina) - DM15 million will be invested in the improvement of Croatian tourist camps in the course of this year, Camping Associations of Croatia secretary Jerko Sladoljev told reporters in Zagreb on Friday. Speaking about the categorisation of camps, which should be completed by May, Sladoljev said the categorisation was almost identical to the one done in Germany by local auto-club ADAC. So far, six Croatian camps have been given four stars, Valalta in Rovinj, Adriatic in Orebic, Palme Kuciste on the island of Peljesac, Vranjice Belvedere in Trogir, and Antony Boy in Viganj. Fifty-nine camps have been given three, 37 two, and 11 one star. As regards camp product and service quality, ADAC assessed five Croatian camps have a high sanitary standard.
