ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - The reconstructed home of writer Miroslav Krleza and Bela Krleza in Zagreb was opened on Saturday in the presence of several hundred citizens, including President Stjepan Mesic, researchers of Krleza's work,
cultural and public workers and representatives of the Zagreb City authorities. The memorial collection of his work is part of the Zagreb Museum. The workers at the Museum suggested a museum concept by which architect Zeljko Kovacic carried out the project. Miroslav and Bela Krleza spent the last 30 years of their lives on the second floor of the house, where some of the most important work of the author were written. Before arriving at the house, a delegation of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Sciences, Lexicography Institute and National and University Library, laid wreaths and flowers on Krleza's grave.(hina) lml
