ZAGREB, Dec 27 (Hina) - In 2001, the Croatian government held 68 sessions in the total duration of 245 hours, and discussed 1,327 items on the agenda, Premier Ivica Racan said Thursday at the end of this year's last government
session. The government has passed a total of 1,728 acts, of which 259 decrees, 628 decisions, 365 resolutions and 476 conclusions. It also discussed 140 strategic and analytic documents, and adopted 270 bills. The parliament passed a total of 149 laws at the government's proposal. The government has forwarded a total of 57 acts as opinions to the Croatian parliament, Racan said. The last session in 2001 was the first electronic session wherein the ministers, instead of pile of papers, used touch-screen monitors.(hina) np sb
