ZAGREB, Dec 18 (Hina) - Around 100 union commissioners peacefully protested in front of the Croatian Power Supply (HEP) building in Zagreb Tuesday. The protest was organised by the Croatian power supply and economy union (HES). The
unionists demanded the signing of a collective agreement by January 20, 2002 at the latest, a 1,500 kuna Christmas bonus, a consensus among social partners on the implementation of the restructuring process, and the participation of workers' representatives in supervisory boards of HEP and newly founded companies. If the management does not meet these requests by January 20, the HES will organise a general strike in HEP which will probably be joined by unions of the Croatian oil company INA, the Croatian Post and the Croatian Telecom, the HES president, Dubravko Corak said.
