SARAJEVO, Dec 17 (Hina) - Three senior officials of the Bosnian Army, suspected of war crimes against Bosnian Croats and Serbs, to whom the panel of appeals of the international war crimes tribunal in The Hague has granted temporary
release until the start of the trial, said upon returning to Sarajevo on Monday they were optimistic and confident they would be acquitted. Retired generals Enver Hadzihasanovic and Mehmed Alagic, and Colonel Amir Kubura arrived from The Hague accompanied by their attorney, Edina Residovic. "I am convinced that we will secure acquittals for all three in the upcoming period," Residovic told reporters in Sarajevo. At the end of last week, the tribunal's panel of appeals also granted temporary release for Sefer Halilovic. in The Hague has granted temporary release until the start of the
trial, said upon returning to Sarajevo on Monday they were
optimistic and confident they would be acquitted.

All four former Bosnian Army officers were released on a guarantee

Until the state of the trial, they are not allowed to leave the
territory of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina and must
regularly contact the local police which should secure their
arrival in The Hague upon summons.
