Present at the ceremony were the family, friends and admirers of the Croatian politician and lawyer, including his closest associate from 1971, Savka Dabcevic-Kucar. The Croatian politician and lawyer Miko Tripalo (Sinj, 1926 - Zagreb, 1995) was a member of the narrowest Croatian and Yugoslav political leadership, and a central figure of Croatian Spring, a massive national and democratic movement in Croatia of thirty years ago. Tripalo was removed from public life and forced to a long-term silence in Dec. 1971. (hina) np sb
