ZAGREB, Dec 12 (Hina) - The European Parliament's ratification of a Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and Interim Agreement with Croatia by a majority vote earlier today is a clear sign of support to Croatia's European
future, the Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday. "Despite a very intensive agenda, the European Parliament has found time to include items on Croatia. The Republic of Croatia highly appreciates this fact and views it as a sign of clear support to its European future. This is an important step in the accelerated joining of the European Union," the ministry said in a statement. The Interim Agreement, which pertains to trade issues contained in the SAA, will start being applied on Jan. 1.
