committee on Monday returned an agreement on borders initialled by
Croatia and Slovenia to the Croatian government, because the

guarantee a ratification of the agreement.
Parliament deputy speaker and president of the committee, Zdravko
Tomac, said the reaching of the compromising solution, which both

The committee also assessed talks should be held with the Bosnia-
Herzegovina side on the agreement on the Ploce port, because of one
provision in dispute which refers to the existence of one
international community representative in the committee, next to
three Croatian and three Bosnia-Herzegovina representatives.
Because of this provision, the agreement is "unacceptable for
Croatia, because a part of the protectorate from Bosnia would be
transferred to Croatia", Tomac said.
