ZAGREB, Dec 5 (Hina) - Civil servants' unions on Wednesday accepted the government's suggestion for Christmas bonuses to amount to 250 kuna (approx USD30). The same amount of money will be paid for gifts for children, and jubilee
awards on the 1,725.00 kuna basis, the president of Civil Servants Union, Ivica Ihas, said after Wednesday night's negotiations at the government. The Christmas bonus, gifts for children and jubilee awards will be paid by the end of the year. The government and unions also agreed on most rights from a new basic collective agreement which, Ihas said, could be signed next week.
