ZAGREB, Nov 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (HBOR) and a syndicate of 23 banks signed a contract on a 50 million-euro-worth syndicated loan in Zagreb on Tuesday. The loan, intended for HBOR programmes,
was organised by the Standard Bank from London, which was joined by the Bayerische Landesbank Girozentrale and the Mizuho Financial Group (DKB/Fuji), the HBOR said. The payment deadline is three years with the possibility of extension for another two, the annual interest rate EURIBOR increased by 0.975 percent. The interest of the foreign banks in granting a syndicated loan to the HBOR exceeded expectations, making the terms of the contract very favourable, the bank said.
