MOSTAR, Nov 23 (Hina) - Representatives of local authorities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Yugoslavia gathered at a three-day regional conference "Transborder Cooperation of Municipalities" in Mostar, advocated on Friday the
revival of economic cooperation among municipalities of countries in South-East Europe. The Croatian participant, Tihomir Salajic, presented the recently founded "Civil Pact for South-East Europe" of which he is coordinator. He said that as part of the Pact, a special network of cities has been established whose seat is in Osijek and gathers some two dozen towns from South-East Europe. Hasanovic said Posavina Canton and some towns in Vojviodina had
requested to join the "Danube-Drava-Sava" region.
The conference, held under the auspices of the Stability Pact, will
end on Saturday.
