BUDAPEST, Nov 21 (Hina) - Croatia and Hungary signed a joint declaration on transborder cooperation in Budapest on Wednesday. The declaration envisages programmes for the realisation of which the two countries will seek financial
assistance from the European Union, which advocates such cooperation. The declaration was signed by Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula and the Hungarian minister for the PHARE programme, Imre Boros. The EU finances transborder cooperation programmes in Hungary via the PHARE programme. Croatia will seek the necessary funds from the CARDS programme.
