ZAGREB, Nov 21 (Hina) - The Croatian Farmers' Alliance strongly condemns the recent increase in the retail price of milk, deeming it groundless, and has called on non-governmental organisations protecting consumers to join in the
struggle for "real relations in this part of the market." The Alliance is dissatisfied with the policy of exhaustion the dairy industry has waged with manufacturers, referring to the European Union where dairy factories pay manufacturers 70-80 percent of the wholesale price of milk, whereas Croatian factories pay only 35-40 percent.(hina) ha sb
