ZAGREB/BUCHAREST, Nov 16 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivica Racan returned to Zagreb on Friday from Romania, where he attended the annual summit of prime ministers of countries participating in the Central European Free Trade Agreement
(CEFTA). Croatia attended the summit as a guest and is expected to become a CEFTA member in May or June next year, when Slovakia will chair the Agreement. The member-states signed a joint declaration supporting Croatia's admission to this free trade association, and announcing the partial resumption of trade liberalisation for specific farm produce, in keeping with European legislation. The declaration also states that disputes among CEFTA members in connection with farm produce trade will be settled through bilateral talks. The member-states strongly condemned the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in the United States, voicing full support to the U.S. anti-terrorist campaign.(hina) ha sb
