commission on gender equality, Zeljka Antunovic, said on Friday. Talking to reporters on International Tolerance Day, Antunovic reminded that UNESCO dedicated the year 1995 to tolerance. Since then, Nov 16 has been marked every year, introducing ten ideas for the pondering of tolerance. Croatia has joined in the event, choosing the idea "Say NO to Violence". The government's commission on gender equality will dedicate next week, including the international day against violence on women, to various activities drawing the citizens' attention to the significance of tolerance, human rights and non-violence, said Antunovic.(hina) ha sb
