BELGRADE, Nov 13 (Hina) - Serbia's Minister for External Economic Relations Goran Bitic maintains Yugoslavia will remain a highly indebted country even if the Paris Club of creditors writes off more than half of the current debt, as
it is expected. "In the coming period Yugoslavia will have to seriously work towards finding sources for debt servicing," Pitic told Belgrade's Politika daily of Tuesday. The Paris Club convened in the French capital today and is expected to decide about the write-off and reprogramming of Yugoslavia's $4.5 billion debt. Yugoslavia's entire debt to the Paris and London Clubs amounts to $12 billion. Following negotiations with the Paris Club on the write-off of half of the amount and the reprogramming of the rest, the country is expected to begin negotiations with the London Club.(hina) ha sb
