NEW YORK, Nov 12 (Hina) - The talks between Presidents George Bush and Stipe Mesic were very cordial, a senior White House official said in New York on Monday, adding the U.S. head of state thanked his Croatian counterpart on a resolute stance and statements in the struggle against global terrorism. Briefing reporters about the bilateral talks Bush held over the weekend, the official said Croatia had taken some very good, concrete steps. Croatia has severed some financial routes, launched investigations into possible or suspect terrorist organisations in Croatia, and been a good partner in combating terrorism, pledging full support, according to the unnamed official.
