ZAGREB, Nov 8 (Hina) - The exhibition "Century of Croatian Book in Emigration 1900-2000" opened Thursday at the National and University Library (NSK) in Zagreb. The exhibition provides an overview of the all published Croatian books
in emigration in the past century for the first time, Josip Stipanov, the NSK's general manager said. The exhibits include exclusively books published outside Croatia and kept in the NSK, Stipanov said. He added the NSK today had the richest collection of Croatian emigrants' print works in the world. The exhibition includes books from the field of humanities,

Croatian emigrants in North and South America, Australia, New
Zealand, South Africa and Europe.
The books selected for the exhibition were written by Croatian
authors of the first and second generation of emigrants, both in
Croatian and the languages of their respective countries of
emigration.
The exhibition, which closes December 2, should be staged in other
Croatian towns as well.
