Yugoslav state coordinating body for Kosovo, Nebojsa Covic, on Kosovo Serbs voting in the upcoming general elections in the Yugoslav province was "unacceptable". Speaking before almost 10,000 citizens, Rugova said he did not want any conflicts with the UNMIK. On the contrary, "we shall continue to cooperate with the UN civil administration" with the aim of creating an atmosphere of security for all citizens in Kosovo. The UN Mission in Pristina said Tuesday's session of the Kosovo
temporary steering board was postponed because of the failure of
Rugova and Haradinaj to turn up, while Hashim Taqi, who was the
first to express opposition to the document, arrived at the
